Best Eye Cream For Young Women?
If you’re a young woman (and I take it you are since you’re reading this) I want to applaud you for taking early preventive measures to slow down the signs of aging. But your skin is different than someone that is older, so what is the best eye cream for young women? Well, let’s discuss what you should and shouldn’t look for…
Scent Free
Although I’m no longer “young” (or at least as young as I’d like to be) I’m still in my twenties… and one thing I’ve always hated are scented eye creams. I have skin that is easily irritated, especially around the eyes, so I don’t like those. Fortunately from my experience, the best eye creams rarely ever add a scent. So that’s a big plus in my opinion!
Super Moisturizing
Whether you’re a young women or an old man, it’s absolutely vital that you use an eye cream that has intense moisturizing abilities. Why? Well, just like a machine your skin needs to be lubricated. When it’s not, it will break down faster and show wear and tear. The is especially true for our faces since the skin is put through so much; laughing, crying, squinting, etc.
Proven Ingredients
Now this is what separates the best eye creams from the worst. Cheaper eye creams you find at the drugstore rarely use the good stuff, and when they do, they usually only use weak concentrations.
The best eye cream for young women should contain at least one of these ingredients. You don’t need all of them (in fact that would be bad because some may conflict with one another) however you definitely want an eye cream that contains at least one of these proven ingredients:
Copper Peptides – Anti aging creams containing this ingredient are great to use at any age. Why? Because this ingredient reportedly helps to promote and support elastin and collagen production.
Retinol – This is a form of vitamin A that accelerates the rate at which your cells replenish themselves. Retinol face cream is not only helpful at fighting wrinkles, but also acne at the same time. This is why it’s especially ideal for young women. However please note this product may irritate your skin the first few weeks as your skin adapts to it – this is completely normal though. Like they say, no pain no gain!
Hyaluronic Acid – This “water sponge” ingredient has only made its way into skin care products over the past few years, but it’s not anything new – you already have it in your skin! Hyaluronic acid skin care is a revolutionary way to moisturize.
